News: Troopers investigate fatal crash on I-35 in Ellsworth

ELLSWORTH, IA - According to WHO 13, the Iowa State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that happened on I-35 near mile marker 133 on Tuesday.

The driver of a Chevrolet Avalanche was heading north on I-35 when they lost control of the vehicle on a slick, icy bridge and crashed into a ditch.

A 42-year-old male passenger in the Avalanche was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He died from his injuries.

Nobody else was hurt in the crash.
