DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, firefighters responded to a fire on the 800 block of 35th St Monday.
The building, which houses an antique shop and multiple apartments, became engulfed in flames around 4:45 p.m.
One person was inside the building when the fire broke out. They smelled smoke and exited the building without any injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Des Moines Fire Department.
