DES MOINES, IA - A police vehicle pushed a pickup truck into a home near 44th St and Ovid Ave Friday, according to Des Moines Register.
An officer attempted to make a traffic stop with a pickup truck driver because the license plate did not match the vehicle. The driver then fled the area.
Officers pursued the suspect at speeds of 80 mph in 35 mph zones. They eventually stopped the suspect by pushing his vehicle into a home.
Rescue crews transported the suspect to an area hospital.
Authorities charged the suspect with driving while barred and with speeding 25 mph above the speed limit.
