News: Crews respond to injury accident in Center Point

CENTER POINT, IA - Two people were hurt in a wrong-way collision at Lewis Access Rd and I-380 Thursday, according to KCRG.

A 72-year-old woman was driving a Honda Accord the wrong way down an off-ramp when she tried to make a U-turn and collided with a motorcyclist around 3:37 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital with serious injuries. They also took a passenger from the Honda to the hospital with back pain.

Authorities cited the driver for Unsafe Turn and Wrong Way.
