DES MOINES, IA - According to KCCI, a driver fatally struck a bicyclist near Pioneer Rd and SE 6th St Wednesday.
A 40-year-old male was riding a bicycle west on Pioneer Rd when he ran a stop sign at the intersection with SE 6th St and was hit by a driver.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital, where he died the next day.
