IOWA COUNTY, IA - According to KCRG, one person died and two others were injured in a wreck on eastbound I-80 near mile marker 221 Monday.
The driver of a 2019 Chevy Trax was heading east on I-80 when they strayed off the road and into a ditch and a cement culvert before rolling over.
Rescue crews pronounced a 43-year-old dead at the scene and transported an 18-year-old and a 34-year-old to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
