DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, a driver fatally collided with a semi-truck on the 3800 block of Merle Hay Rd Friday.
A semi-truck driver was traveling north on Merle Hay Rd struck a curbed and strayed into oncoming traffic where they hit a car head-on around 8:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the car driver dead at the scene and transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital in critical condition.
