HARRISON COUNTY, IA - A tow truck driver and two motorcyclists died following a collision on IA 127 near Loess Hills Trail Sunday, according to WHO 13.
A 73-year-old male tow truck driver was heading west on IA 127 when he took a curve too fast and ran a stop sign before rolling over around 4:23 p.m.
The tow truck collided with a motorcycle occupied by a 53-year-old male and a 53-year-old female passenger, The collision ejected both riders from the motorcycle.
Another male motorcyclist was able to jump from his motorcycle before being hit by the tow truck.
A 38-year-old male and a 38-year-old female were then ejected from their motorcycle while trying to avoid the tow truck.
Rescue crews pronounced the tow truck driver and the occupants of the first motorcycle dead at the scene and transported the other three motorcyclists to an area hospital.
