News: Crews respond to house fire on Blaine Ave

GALESBURG, IA - Emergency responders were called to the scene of a house fire on the 200 block of Blaine Ave Sunday, according to KWQC.

The fire started around 4:20 a.m. Smoke was coming from the attic by the time firefighters arrived.

Firefighters contained the fire to the attack. The rest of the house sustained smoke and water damage. Officials estimate the fire did around $14,000 worth of damage to the home.

All four of the house's occupants were able to leave the home safely before crews arrived.
