News: Driver strikes, injures construction worker in Burlington

BURLINGTON, IA - According to KCRG, a teen driver collided with a construction worker near N 3rd St and Columbia St on June 10.

A 16-year-old male was driving a 2014 Subaru Impreza west on Columbia St when he swerved, jumped a curb, traveled across a sidewalk and hit the 26-year-old victim around 12 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with a leg injury.

Authorities cited the teen with Failure to Maintain Control.
