CEDAR FALLS, IA - According to KCRG, firefighters rescued 16 cats from a burning mobile home on the 2200 block Zircon Ln Wednesday.
A shed caught on fire around 10:36 a.m. The fire had spread to a mobile home by the time firefighters arrived.
The sole occupant of the mobile home informed the firefighters he had 16 cats inside the home.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and rescued all of the cats.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
