LUZERNE, IA - The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle crash that left a motorcyclist dead on 77th St Saturday, according to WHO 13.
A motorcyclist was riding a motorcycle that was being pulled by a 2012 Ford Foc.us that was heading west on 77th St when the driver of a 2015 Volkswagen Passat struck the motorcyclist from behind.
The collision caused the motorcyclist to slam into the rear of the Ford Focus.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital in critical condition, where they died.
Officials have not released the victim's name.
