News: 2 injured following 3-vehicle wreck in Mason City

MASON CITY, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, two people were hurt in a three-vehicle collision at 5 St SW and S President Ave Saturday.

A 33-year-old male was driving a Chevy Impala when he ran a stop sign and collided with a 49-year-old driving a Ford Explorer. The collision caused the Ford Explorer to strike a Nissan driven by a 23-year-old male.

Rescue crews transported the Ford Explorer to an area hospital. A private vehicle took the Chevy Impala driver to the same hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was not injured in the incident.
