DRAKESVILLE, IA - A person died following a wrong-way crash on N Washington St near Main St Wednesday, according to WHO 13.
A person driving a Honda Accord was heading north on N Washington St when they strayed off the road, overcorrected, and crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic where they hit a Chevy Suburban head-on around 5:43 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Accord driver dead at the scene and transported two people from the Suburban to an area hospital via air ambulance.
