BLOOMFIELD, IA - According to WHO 13, a motorcyclist died in a crash while fleeing from police at US 63 and IA 2 Saturday.
Authorities were chasing a 19-year-old male riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle at high speeds when the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle.
Rescue crews pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The driver he hit was not hurt in the incident.
