MARSHALLTOWN, IA - A police officer collided with a child with his vehicle near Woodbury St and N 12th Ave Saturday, according to KCCI.
The officer hit the 4-year-old boy at 6:21 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the boy to an area hospital with injuries to his right foot and lower leg. He has since been treated and released.
Following the collision, the officer remained at the scene and called paramedics.
