CENTER POINT, IA - Officials have identified the child who died in a single-vehicle collision on southbound I-380 near Cedar Ridge Rd Saturday, according to KCCI.
Rescue crews were called to the scene of the accident around 3:07 a.m. They found a van upside down in a ditch.
Paramedics transported the van's three occupants to an area hospital. One occupant, a 10-year-old boy, died. The other two occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the wreck.
