SHELBY COUNTY, IA - According to WOWT, two people were hurt in a wrong-way collision on IA 173 Saturday.
A 48-year-old driving a Chevy C2500 was heading north on IA 173 when they strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford Fusion driven by a 22-year-old around 2:24 a.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the collision.
