STORY COUNTY, IA - A driver died after colliding with a semi-truck at 590th Ave and 210th St on Tuesday, according to We Are Iowa.
A man from Nevada was heading west on 210th St when he struck the passenger side of a semi-truck heading north on 590th Ave around 5 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Nevada man dead at the scene and transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Two dogs from the Nevada man's vehicle survived the incident. They were taken to an area veterinary clinic.
