DES MOINES, IA - According to We Are Iowa, a husband and wife died in a crash near E 27th St and E University Ave on Sunday,
An 18-year-old was driving west on E University Ave at excessive speeds when they hit a car occupied by a 76-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman that was turning onto E 27th St from E University Ave around 8 p.m.
The 76-year-old man and 79-year-old woman died in the collision. It is unclear if the 18-year-old was hurt in the incident.
