News: Authorities charge 18-year-old for fatal crash in Kellogg

KELLOGG, IA - According to KCCI, authorities have charged an 18-year-old male for a rollover crash that killed a 17-year-old female on the 5300 block of Jewel St on Aug. 26.

The 18-year-old male was driving when he crashed around 2:40 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the 17-year-old female passenger to an area hospital via helicopter, where she died on Aug. 28.

Authorities have charged the 18-year-old driver with involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, careless driving, possession/purchase of alcohol, and failure to maintain control.
