WEST POINT, IA - According to the Iowa State Patrol, a driver collided with a male pedestrian at 2431 County Rd 103 on Thursday.
A 15-year-old male was driving a 2017 GMC Sierra when he hit a 65-year-old man who was walking to his mailbox around 7:52 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the pedestrian to an area hospital.
The Sierra driver was not hurt in the incident.
