HUMBOLDT COUNTY, IA - According to WHO 13, a semi-truck driver fatally collided with a concrete truck near 110th St and Birch Ave on Wednesday.
A 27-year-old man was driving a semi-truck south on Birch Ave when he failed to yield the right of way and hit a concrete truck operated by a 29-year-old male around 5 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the concrete truck driver dead at the scene and transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital via air ambulance.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
