LINN COUNTY, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, one person was hurt in a four-vehicle collision near Covington Rd and Lone Tree Rd on Wednesday.

A construction truck hauling a trailer was heading north on Covington Rd when it slowed down to turn into its job site near Lone Tree Rd around 8 a.m.
A 34-year-old male driving a Toyota Sienna rear-ended a Chevrolet Cruz, which pushed it into a Prius. The collision sent the Prius crashing into the construction truck.
Rescue crews transported the Cruz driver, a 64-year-old woman, to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities cited the Sienna driver for following too close.
