CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - Crews were called to the scene of a house fire on the 800 block of Center Point Rd NE on Thursday, according to KCRG.
The fire broke out around 6 p.m. Flames were coming out a first-floor window when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters contained the fire to the first floor of the home.
Investigators believe the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
Nobody was home when the fires started. Nobody was injured in the incident.
The fire dispaced two adults and three children.
