MITCHELL COUNTY, IA - The Mitchell County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly accident that happened in a grain bin near IA 9 and Glass Ave on Wednesday, according to KCCI.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 12:13 p.m. They found a 69-year-old man from Mitchell entrapped in a grain bin.
Rescue crews attempted to perform life-saving measures on the man before pronouncing him dead at the scene.
