DAVENPORT, IA - A driver died following a single-vehicle collision on the 5900 block of N Brady St on Monday, according to KWQC.
A 25-year-old man was driving north on Brady St when they strayed off the road and struck a pole. The vehicle came to rest near W 59th St around 2:50 a.m.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.
Rescue crews transported the driver and a 16-year-old passenger to an area hospital, where the driver died. The 16-year-old sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The Davenport Police Department is investigating the incident.
