FRANKLIN COUNTY, IA - According to WHO 13, a driver died after colliding with a semi-truck near IA 3 and Lark Ave on Wednesday.
A 54-year-old man was driving a pickup truck west on IA 3 when he strayed into the eastbound lanes and hit the front trailer axle of a semi-truck around 1:35 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the 54-year-old man dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver, a 53-year-old man from Eldora, was not hurt in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
