PLEASANT HILL, IA - A 14-year-old student driver was hurt after colliding with a garbage truck on N E University Ave near Southeast Polk High School on Monday, according to KCCI.
The 14-year-old driver was T-boned by a garbage truck around 7:30 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
