FAIRFAX, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on Williams Blvd near Casey's on Friday.

The driver hit the male pedestrian around 9 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim's name.
The driver was not hurt in the incident, but they did go to the hospital as a precaution.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision.
