FRANKLIN COUNTY, IA - A man driving a golf cart died after colliding with a motorcyclist near US Hwy 65 and 170th St on Sunday, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
An 84-year-old man riding a 2007 Columbia golf cart was stopped at US 65 on 170th St when he pulled out in front of a 54-year-old man riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on US 65 at around 3:20 p.m.
Following the collision, rescue crews transported the motorcyclist and golf cart driver to Franklin General Hospital, where the golf cart driver died.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
