FAIRFAX, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, officials have disclosed additional information concerning the fatal crash on Williams Blvd near Casey's in Fairfax on Friday.

A 63-year-old man from Norway, IA, was driving when he collided with a 49-year-old male pedestrian from Cedar Rapids around 9 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The 63-year-old driver was not hurt in the incident but did go to an area hospital as a precaution.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
