PERCIVAL, IA - A semi-truck driver struck and killed a woman near 211th Ave and IA 2 on Friday, according to WOWT.
A 44-year-old semi-truck driver was leaving a truck stop when he hit a 65-year-old woman from Lexington, NC, around 8 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
It is unclear if the driver was charged concerning the incident.
The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
