HAMILTON COUNTY, IA - According to WHO 13, the Hamiton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened near N Des Moines St and 210th St on Saturday.
Dustin Humlicek, 39, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado north on N Des Moines St when he ran a stop sign at 210th St. He then crashed into a ditch before coming to rest in a residential yard around 3 a.m.
Emergency crews transported Humlicek and his passenger, Kevin Beightol, 48, to an area hospital with serious injuries, where Beightol died.
Charges are pending.
