BRANDON, IA - The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash that happened near I-380 and 330th St on Monday, according to KCRG.
A driver strayed off the road and crashed around 6:25 a.m. The car then caught on fire. The driver died in the incident. Nobody else was inside the vehicle.
Small explosions can be heard during the fire in a video taken by witnesses. It is unclear what caused the explosions.
Officials have not released the victim's name or the cause of the incident.
