WAUKEE, IA - A driver hit a girl riding a bicycle near Waukee Middle School on Thursday, according to KCCI.
A 15-year-old girl was driving when she hit the 12-year-old girl riding a bike in a roundabout near Waukee Middle School around 7:40 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the bicyclist to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Waukee Police Department is investigating the incident.
