DES MOINES, IA - A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on I-235 NB near Euclid Ave on Monday, according to We Are Iowa.
The driver hit the victim, a 27-year-old male, as he was walking along the highway around 5 a.m.
First responders performed life-saving measures on the victim and then transported him to an area hospital, where he died.
Officials have not released the victim's name.
The incident is under investigation by the Des Moines Police Department.
