DES MOINES, IA - A motorcyclist died in a crash on the 1900 block of E University Ave on Wednesday, according to KCCI.
A 61-year-old male was riding a motorcycle east on E University Ave when he switched lanes and collided with a stalled vehicle around 3:51 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the 61-year-old male, his female passenger, and a man standing outside the stalled vehicle to area hospitals. The 61-year-old man died. The woman and the other man had minor injuries.
The Des Moines Police Department is investigating the incident.
