RUDD, IA - A train struck a driver in Rudd on Sunday, according to KCCI.
A 36-year-old woman was driving when she attempted to go around the crossing arms and was hit by a train on the driver's side of the vehicle around 7:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital.
Officials have not released the woman's current condition.
