COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - According to KCCI, authorities have arrested a woman for a fatal auto vs. pedestrian crash that happened at Poplar Dr and Birch St on Dec. 24, 2023.
A 47-year-old woman was allegedly under the influence of controlled substances while driving when she collided with a 74-year-old man standing near his parked vehicle.
Authorities arrested the woman on Thursday and charged her with homicide by vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.
