ELY, IA - A fire destroyed an outbuilding at 339 Nederhiser Rd on Tuesday, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1:11 p.m. They found the structure completely engulfed in flames when they arrived.
The building's owner, a 60-year-old man, was welding and investigators believe a stray spark may have caused the fire.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
