SOLON, IA - Firefighters responded to a fire at the Iowa Raptor Project in Solon on Friday, according to KCRG.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 4:24 a.m. They found four enclosures engulfed in flames. The four birds in those enclosures died in the fire and the enclosures were destroyed.
The remaining birds are monitored to see if they show distress.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
