News: Impaired driver hurt following crash on IA 13 in Linn County

LINN COUNTY, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, an alleged drunk driver was hurt in a single-vehicle collision near IA 13 and Bunker Hill Rd on Saturday.

A 41-year-old man was driving south on IA 13 when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a ditch before rolling over and landing on his wheels around 10:49 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities charged the driver with OWI Second Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While License Under Suspicion, Open Container, and other traffic offenses.
