CAMANCHE, IA - The State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that happened at the Greystone Warehouse at 311 37th Ave on Friday, according to KWQC.
Emergency crews responded to the incident around 12 a.m. Black smoke was coming from inside the warehouse by the time they arrived at the scene.
Firefighters had the fire extinguished in about two hours. They remained at the scene for another three hours to remove smoldering plastic pallets from the structure.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The building was completely destroyed. Damages are thought to be around $1,000,000.
