BRUNSVILLE, IA - One person was hurt in a collision involving two semi-trucks that happened at IA 3 and County Rd K42 on Tuesday, according to KTIV.
A 37-year-old man was driving a semi-truck carrying hogs south on K42 when he ran a stop sign and collided with a westbound semi-truck driving by a 48-year-old man around 2:22 p.m.
Rescue crews extricated the 48-year-old man from the semi-truck and transported him to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other driver was not hurt in the incident.
Authorities cited the 37-year-old man for failing to stop at a stop sign and yield the right of way.
