LINN COUNTY, IA - According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, two people were hurt in a wreck at Alice Rd and N Center Point Rd on Friday.

A 55-year-old woman was driving south on Alice Rd when she ran a stop sign at N Center Point Rd. She then slammed into a ditch and crashed through a fence before coming to rest against a tree around 9:57 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the woman and her 17-year-old daughter to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities charged the woman with Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Failure to Wear Seatbelt.
