News: Deputies investigate 2-vehicle crash in Alburnett

ALBURNETT, IA - According to The Linn County Sheriff's Office, deputies are investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened at Main Ave and Howard St on Wednesday.

A 77-year-old woman was driving a white Ford Fusion west on Howard St when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and collided with a 24-year-old driving a Dodge Ram south on Main St around 2 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the 77-year-old woman to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities cited the 77-year-old woman for Failure to Yield Upon Entering Through Highway and the 24-year-old for Use of Electronic Devices while Driving. 3
