LE CLAIRE, IA - According to KWQC, officials have identified the woman who died in a multi-vehicle collision at 18988 Great River Rd on Tuesday.
A 56-year-old man was driving a 2008 Lexus ES350 north on Great River Rd when he slammed into the back of a white 2019 Buick Encore driven by a 70-year-old woman around 1:20 p.m.
The collision sent the Buick into oncoming traffic, where a 46-year-old male driving a 2017 Infiniti Q45 collided with it on the passenger side.
Rescue crews pronounced the 70-year-old woman dead at the scene and transported the other two drivers to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
