DAVENPORT, IA - The pedestrian who was hit by a driver on the 600 block of Waverly Rd on Dec. 23 has died, according to KWQC.
A 45-year-old male driver was heading south on Waverly Rd when he hit a 25-year-old man walking on the shoulder of the highway around 10:20 p.m.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where he died on Dec. 28.
The driver was not hurt in the collision.
The Davenport Police Department is investigating the incident.
