CARROLL COUNTY, IA - According to We Are Iowa, the Iowa State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened on US 71 near 150th St on Monday.
A 41-year-old man was driving a pickup truck south on US 71 when he passed a car around 8 a.m. The driver lost control of his vehicle when he returned to his lane and crashed into a ditch before slamming into a pole.
The driver and a juvenile female died in the wreck.
